Lightning
8 x 10"
“Thunder” and “Lightning” are evocative paired artworks that draw the viewer into a mesmerizing dance of contrasts and energy. The pieces feature swirling patterns of black, gray, and metallic hues, creating a dynamic and almost cosmic landscape. The artist’s innovative use of a water curing technique with the resin results in a distinctive texture, with ripples and bubbles that add depth and movement to the surface. Hints of copper and silver shimmer through the dark background, suggesting the interplay of light and shadow, power and calm. The organic, fluid forms invite interpretation and contemplation, encouraging the viewer to find their own meaning in the abstract, almost ethereal visuals. Together, these pieces capture the essence of natural forces and the beauty of their interplay.

Sardinia
16 x 20"
Resin, Sand & Paint on canvas
Statement from the artist: “Italy has been on my list ever since birth. Ever since my Italian grandmother passed away just over a year ago (pre-Pandemia), I had meant to make a pilgrimage to our ancestral home in her honor. As you can see, Italy also has beautiful pink sand beaches.” (Part of a Private Collection in the Hamptons)
Duality
16 x 20"
Resin, Sand & Paint on canvas
Statement from the artist: “A previous piece (Hillier) got me interested in more examples of visual duality in nature. As a bisexual man, I’m endlessly fascinated by duality, particularly in oneself or in nature. This piece is based off a pink beach in the Bahamas, where I was supposed to see my friends get married in 2020.” (Part of a Private Collection in New York City)
Hillier
16 x 20"
Resin, Sand & Paint on canvas
Statement from the artist: “I had a nephew born in Australia this past year, and have only met him on Zoom. I made this piece before I knew the gender and found this lake in Australia that is naturally pink, right next to a blue ocean.” (Part of a Private Collection in the Hamptons)
Jezero
18 x 24"
Resin, Sand, Paint & Paint on canvas
Statement from the artist: “Jezero is a unique resin piece that captures the imagination. Was there once water on Mars? What did it look like? Did waves exist without the presence of a moon? Will finding ice mean that there be water again on Mars one day?” (Part of a Private Collection in Salt Lake City, Utah)
Sail
5 x 7"
Resin & Paint on Wood
(Part of a Private Collection in Fire Island, New York)
The Cove
16 x 20"
Resin, Sand & Paint on canvas
Statement from the artist: “My favorite sand in all of San Francisco is at Kirby Cove, just north of the Golden Gate bridge. It’s a dark grey -almost black- sand with the most gorgeous view of the bridge and city. I loved hiking around there, playing on the rope swing, and the one lucky time we were able to camp at Kirby. A diligent friend put our names on the list months in advance and she scored us a spot. Even though it was pouring rain all night, it was still unforgettable.” (Part of a Private Collection on the Upper East Side, New York)
Apollo I
30 x 34" (including frame)
Resin & Paint on Wood
(Part of a Private Collection in New Jersey)
